As a Beauty Stylist at FM Beauty, you will have the opportunity to bring out the best in our clients. Key Responsibilities: Offer expert consultations to clients, understanding their beauty goals and preferences to provide personalized recommendations on haircuts, styles, treatments, and products. Create beautiful hairstyles and updos tailored to each client’s unique features and occasions. Masterfully blow-dry, curl, straighten, and style hair using the latest techniques and tools. Utilise a variety of cutting techniques with scissors, clippers, and razors to achieve desired looks. Apply professional colouring techniques, including highlights, balayage, and full-colour transformations, and advise clients on post-treatment care to maintain and protect their hair. Perform hair treatments including shampooing, deep conditioning, keratin smoothing, straightening, and scalp treatments. Customise treatments to address specific hair and scalp concerns for optimal results. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay ahead in the industry. Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring smooth scheduling and minimal wait times. Handle client transactions with accuracy and professionalism, including payments and record-keeping. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming workspace that reflects FM Beauty’s high standards. Qualifications: Certificate III or above as hairdresser Proven experience as a hairdresser for at least 2 years Proficiency in a variety of styling techniques and hair treatments Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $73,000 - $83,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
